Alliance is currently seeking a Housing Manager who will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with landlords to assist with housing retention efforts, negotiate with landlords for acquisition for master-leased units and other rent-assisted units, avert possible evictions of units by promptly addressing concerns with property owners and managers, maintaining and updating client records in database system, and ensuring units remain habitable by HUD standards. The Housing Manager acts as a liaison among tenants, Supportive Services Coordinators, property owners and managers, and other involved parties as appropriate. This is a mobile position and requires reliable transportation to provide services throughout Los Angeles County.
Qualifications and Skills
– Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
– Experience in Property Management, working with tenants and property owners.
– Experience working with homeless and diverse populations.
– Excellent communication skills
– Ability to work independently and part of a team.
– Must have a car, CA Driver’s license and proof of insurance.
– Ability to travel county-wide.
– Annual TB test.
