Alliance for Housing and Healing is deeply grateful to the S. Mark Taper Foundation for its extraordinary gift of $50,000 in December of 2013. This grant supports our general operations and fills in where restricted funds are limited.
The S. Mark Taper Foundation continues to serve as a philanthropic leader in Southern California. This private family foundation is a major donor to the performing arts, community health centers, food programs, and housing initiatives – to name a few. The Foundation works closely with grantees throughout the application process to ensure that the recipient charity meets the highest standards and during the grant year to ensure that funds are spent wisely. Alliance for Housing and Healing is honored to be among the select recipients of the S. Mark Taper Foundation’s generosity.
