Terry Goddard II, Executive Director of Alliance for Housing and Healing, has won an inaugural annual Nonprofit Leadership Impact Award. This prestigious honor is presented by Edison International in cooperation with the Center for Nonprofit Management and includes a $5,000 grant to Alliance for Housing and Healing.
The Nonprofit Leadership Impact Award recognizes Terry’s leadership and in particular his hard work during the 2006-2009 merger of Aid for AIDS and the Serra Project – a difficult task that resulted in a more efficient nonprofit that provides a full spectrum of housing and supportive services to those who are suffering with poverty and HIV/AIDS.
”It has been a gift to lead Alliance for Housing and Healing as it evolves into an organization that truly meets the challenging needs of our clients. They are the reason we do our work with such conviction,” says Goddard II. “I am also proud to work with an incredible team of case workers, fundraisers, support staff, and managers that make everyday a joy. And, of course, our board of directors includes true visionaries and philanthropic leaders.”
Terry received the award at a ceremony on Friday, May 10, as part of the Center for Nonprofit Management’s 501(c)onference and shares this honor with three other deserving nonprofit executives who have also made a meaningful difference in the progress of their programs and the success of their communities.
