Last month, Alliance staff and board members participated in the 2017 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count.

This annual event helps city officials determine the scope of the homeless problem throughout the County and find ways to solving it.

On March 7, 2017, Measure H will go before Los Angeles County voters. If approved by two-thirds of voters, Measure H would generate about $355 million annually for 10 years through a ¼-cent sales tax to fund services that would directly benefit children, foster youth, seniors, battered women, disabled individuals, veterans and other homeless persons. At the same time, the measure would ensure accountability through independent citizen oversight and annual audits.
