Our inaugural Alliance Beauty Day was held on February 27th and provided some previously homeless clients with full makeup and hair makeovers from celebrity stylists and MAC Cosmetics makeup artists.
The event was chaired by Eric Leonardos, winner of Logo TV’s reality show “Finding Prince Charming” and was held at Public Service Salon at 755 N. Farfax Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90046.
“I cannot tell you how much this event means to our clients. Their joy and gratitude are immeasurable. This kind of activity helps to build self-esteem and pride. When our clients look in the mirror they see themselves in a whole new and wonderful light. We are grateful to Eric, Public Service Salon and MAC Cosmetics for their service” said Terry Goddard II, Executive Director of Alliance for Housing and Healing.
“The first salon that I worked for felt strongly about giving back to the community and instilled that value in me as a young beauty professional. Beauty Alliance Day is my way of bringing that value to Public Service Salon. My hope is that we can provide a wonderful experience that will be just a small part of the amazing work that the Alliance does for the already beautiful people they serve” said Eric Leonardos, event chair and organizer.
The smiles on all our clients showed this event to be a great success. Thank you again to Eric Leonardos and the other stylists, MAC makeup artists, and Public Service Salon.
