Alliance for Housing and Healing is a non-profit organization founded 35 years ago with a mission to mitigate the interrelated problems of homelessness and chronic diseases like HIV/AIDS. We have since evolved to become a major provider of human services in Los Angeles County, serving over 2,000 people annually. With an annual budget of over $12M, we provide direct housing and support to chronically homeless and unstably housed persons and their families living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic health conditions. By reducing homelessness and linking clients to medical care, we improve health outcomes that includes a reduction in HIV/AIDS viral loads, thereby decreasing the transmission of HIV and helping to eliminate new infections for the next generation.
Job Description:
The Executive Assistant provides expert administrative support to the Executive Director and other senior management staff. Assumes responsibility for special projects, attends board or similar meetings to take, transcribe, and distribute minutes, prepares board packets, maintains databases, researches/analyzes data, and develops reports for management decision-making. May follow up on projects assigned to managers by senior executives. This is a full-time nonexempt position.
