WeHo’s Night In Fundraiser: Application for Assistance

en Espanol

Our goal:
Our goal is simple, provide immediate assistance for food, medicine, and other basic essentials via $50 eGift cards (social distancing) while those eligible for assistance wait for larger government programs to kick in (unemployment, stimulus checks, etc). We also want to direct those in need to resources provided by the City of West Hollywood for rent, food and utility subsidies, as well as inform them of broader resources and information.

How will the money raised from helpweho.com be distributed?
Helpweho.com is an independent, volunteer-run fundraising team working in conjunction with The Alliance for Housing and Healing (a 501c3). The helpweho.com team is in charge of throwing engaging fundraising events, while the Alliance will be handing the management and distribution of funds based on our guidelines. Funds will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis, with priority for volunteers who qualify for assistance.

Who can apply for assistance?
Anyone who was working as a Nightlife worker (Bartenders, Servers, and the supporting staff that make those establishments great) in West Hollywood and is currently laid off and in need of assistance.

What assistance is available?
Individuals who are eligible will qualify for a $50 eGift card, while funds are available. Applications will be reviewed and approved on a first-come, first-serve basis, with priority going to those who have helped volunteer who qualify for assistance. In addition to the eGift cards, we will be providing applicants with a list of additional resources available through the city and other organizations.

Please complete all fields. Upon submission you will be redirected back to the helpweho.com website and will receive an email confirmation. E-Gift Card distribution happens within 7 days of submission.
